The stainless steel Dependa-Bar is a wall mounted grab bar with a pivoting and locking dual rail. The Dependa-Bar™ is a revolutionary combination of a standard wall mounted grab bar, with the well proven benefits of the SuperBar for movable support. Designed for bathing, toileting and other environments where grab bars are required.
There is No wobbling with this moveable grab bar. It mounts to structural studs in a wide 3-point pattern creating unrivaled support. The Dependa-Bar is ADA compliant. The fixed horizontal grab bar (1 " dia) has 1 " clearance from the wall. When locked against the wall, the Dependa-Bar is aligned with the fixed horizontal grab bar.
HealthCraft's Bath Board provides a plastic seating surface to make washing safe and easy. Helps when transferring in and out of bathtub.
The order selections on this page combine the Dependa-Bar with a Bath Board. All of the features and specifications for the Dpenda-Bar with Bath Board are the same as for the Dependa-Bar.
Features & Benefits For The Bath Board:
- Bath Board - Maximize bathing safety with a beautifully contoured plastic seating surface that includes a soap dish and handle. Fits most standard bathtub widths (15"-25"/40-60cm).
- Transfer - Sturdy plastic board rests across the rim of bathtub. The wider end of the bath board makes it easier to transfer over the bathtub threshold.
- Adjustable - Anti-slip friction feet adjust to fit the width of the bathtub, providing sufficient friction to stabalize the bath board, and keep it in place. Rubber will not damage bathtub surface.
- Easy Installation - No tools required. All plastic hardware provided.
- Easy to Clean - Wipe with a cloth to keep bath board clean. Holes in the seat allow water to drain quickly so sitting water will not collect.
- Handle - Removable plastic handle for added transfer support.
- Portable - Easily removed for storage and travel.

Note: The Dependa-Bar should only be installed in areas where the mounting surface is structurally sound. If you are not equipped to undertake the outlined work we recommend that you have your Dependa-Bar installed by a qualified contractor. The Dependa-Bar must be secured to wall with fasteners appropriate to the structural material. Fasteners must be rated for certain retention force each for maximum weight capacity (see within for recommendations). Mounting fasteners should be inspected monthly and tightened if necessary. Rail is capable of supporting a maximum suggested user weight of 250lbs/113kg.
